Until then you can explore this website and find out lots of important information. So, take your time, look around, and learn all there is to know about our kindergarten at BCCS.
Check here every month for information on upcoming events and activities for your kindergartener.

Belle Creek Charter
Behavior: Students are expected to follow rules and treat others with kindness. Students will have a star chart, and once filled a 'level up' certificate will be sent home to be celebrated! If a child is not adhering to a rule after warning/reminders, that rule will be practiced during the first few minutes of recess and a note will be sent home. Serious behaviors such as lying, hitting, biting, etc. require an office visit, contact home, and consequences.
Snack: We will have snack daily. Send in a small, non-messy, healthy snack for your child. Due to allergies, we are a nut free classroom. If you would like to donate individually packaged, nut-free snacks for students who forget theirs please let me know when doing so and I will be sure to remove them from your child’s backpack.
Water: Please send a fresh water bottle every day! The drinking fountains are closed due to COVID.
Extra clothes: Accidents happen! Make sure to send a full set of extra clothes! It does need to be a uniform.
Homework: To reinforce learning and to teach responsibility, students will have about 10-15 minutes of homework per day. If your child is struggling with homework, please let me know.
Thursday Folders: Completed work and important school related papers will be sent home in Thursday Folders. Please return the empty folders the next day.
