Sending a child to kindergarten is a huge milestone in a family’s life and we are dedicated to making this experience full of amazing memories and individual growth for every student in our class. We recognize that each child enters our classroom with very unique personalities and needs and We look forward to collaborating with you on the best strategies for fulfilling these needs. I began my career way back in 2003, fresh out of college from the University of N. Colorado, right here at Belle Creek as a kindergarten teacher. This was the very first year BCCS was open and I truly feel lucky to have had the opportunity I was given to play an integral role in developing the positive, student focused culture that is still evident at Belle Creek today. 

I taught kindergarten at BCCS from 2003-2006 and then pursued an opportunity to teach kindergarten at a dual language school in north Denver where I continued to teach kindergarten for an additional 10 years. During this time, a lot of things changed in my life including the addition of a Masters degree in Education, getting married to my wonderful husband Ryan, and starting a family which now includes 3 strong willed children of my own.  Becoming a parent and determining what I wanted from a school and community led me back to Belle Creek first as a parent and then as a returning teacher.  

As your child’s teacher I am committed to providing every student with a classroom that they feel safe, cared for, and excited to be a part of.  I feel honored to have the opportunity to share my professional experience and diverse skill set with this community and I look forward to working with you and your family.

Ms. Alice has been a dedicated educator at  Belle Creek since its opening nearly 17 years ago. She is the full-time para-educator for our class exclusively and her services ensure that every student is able to have their needs met at their individual level.   She brings a vast set of skills into our classroom and has the ability to make everyone atound her feel valued and cared for.  

Throughout the years Ms. Alice has provided service to BCCS through many different roles including those of special education para-professional, kitchen worker, and as a teacher aide for numerous grade levels. Each position has shaped her into being the resourceful, collaborative, and truly dedicated blessing that she is for our class.  

In addition to serving this community as an educator, Ms. Alice also has the experience of being an actively involved grandmother of a former Belle Creek student which guides her understanding of what kids need in order thrive as individuals.   She has a passion for building meaningful connections with her students and their families and her energy and heart for her students is unmatchable.  We are lucky to have her creativity, voice for student advocacy, and all around positive energy in our classroom everyday.
